Journey.

This is how we Kept on moving, like you see the Gallery post.

Riding, enjoying weather, Enchanting nature, untouched divine scenic beauty.

From Manali to keylong the ride was started to be awesome.

First time we stuck at the Rohtang pass. Poeple there were stuck for the last 48 hours with their cars and trucks stuck in the traffic jam due to land slide.

It took us 3 good hours to cross the rohtang pass.

We crossed the Rani nala at rohtang pass one by one.
Just after we crossed it one of our bike got punctured and our cargo carrier truck was stuck in the traffic behind.

So we got our bike loaded in the dumper to koksar and got it repaired there.

There we had lunch and some retiring moments as the ride was pretty tiring.
There we met few friends from switzerland waiting for a bus to hop-on.

We offered them ride and they joined us, as they were also going to the keylong.
they remained with us for the next 5 days till ladakh.

We stayed at keylong at a hotel and then next morning we left for sarchu.

Sarchu is known for its bad acclimatization conditions, camping and its altitude.
You can view stars very close and big, perhaps you will be lucky enough to figure our few huge constellations at night.

You may often feel nausea, heaviness in head, slowness in brain all due to deficiency of oxygen in the atmosphere.

However the terrain to the Sarchu was pretty favorable for riding.
You will find beautiful green landscapes where camping can be done or camps are found to be rented.
During our entire journey , the most harsh climatic conditions we faced was at Sarchu.
We were on time at the camps and the camp hosts were cooking lamb and rice for the dinner.
We took herbal tea and took some time to acclimatize there.

We did bonfire untill the dinner was getting served and had few drinks circled around in the group and chit chat.
Bonfire added lights to the atmosphere.
Thats how we called it a day cause we had another day ahead to start with riding for leh-ladakh early morning.
